The Chordsmith
Ken F. Smith
Ken Smith, the "Chord-Smith", is a well versed musician on accordion, piano, organ, synthesizers, and harmonicas. He has authored the 90 page "Ken’s Keyboard Kourse" which presents the rules to follow to find the proper chords to support the melody that you would like to learn. Ken lives in Canada and spends his winters in the Florida sunshine.
Ken has recorded 13 cassettes and 5 CD’s of the songs from the Thirties, Forties, Fifties, gospel, country, and international polkas. Contact him for a full list of titles.
Ken has played in jazz trios, directed barbershop groups and harmonica bands. For 5 years he played bass harmonica in the "World’s Greatest Harmonica Band" and traveled throughout Canada and the United States.
On the piano accordion, he has a left hand that can teach a lot of us new techniques. It’s great. I personally had Ken show me some of his techniques.
